Mar 05, 2008 | 4:16 pmAlong with DEVO, The Knack and BLONDIE, THE CLASH made the crossover to DISCOS. While obviously not DISCO music, ROCK THE CASBAH was very dance-able. It was the first of a rush of British rockers that invaded Stateside DISCOS. The recording was big, but the actual record was not very well done,it was mixable, but was missing something. Could have been production, could have used a remix. On my scale from 1-10, I give ROCK THE CASHBAH a 7.
