"Born To Break My Heart" by Bruce Foster goes down in Disco msuic history as being the first 12 inch Disco single released by Millennium Records in 1977. It's a danceable pop-rock number instead of Disco.
Some interesting tidbits on this release...
1. The title cover states this is a 45 RPM release, but it turns out one side is at 33 1/3 and the othe at 45.
2. Although there are two songs on each side, at the end of the first song the record grooves actually force the needle to skip as if it were a run-out groove at the end of a side. This was obviously pressed for cueing in a radio station environment.
3. The cover is a white type on black title sleeve stating, "Collector's Edition - First Release."
Only buy this Bruce Foster record if you must complete your Millennium Records 12 inch single collection.
