Feb 03, 2005 | 3:39 pmButterfly Records was known to send out promo copies of their disco albums in colored vinyl . This one was clear red.

On the Butterfly disco label, BLACKWELL recorded just one album in 1979, containing various great, funky disco tracks. The pick of the best is "Boogie down and mess around", but also much loved are "Move your a** gringo", "Put the funk back" and the rather silly instrumental "Belly button". An essential Lp with a nice funk feel.
