"Boogie Down and Mess Around" by Blackwell is the song to check out and the one most will recall hearing back in the day. A very good song with a funky feel.

On the Butterfly disco label, BLACKWELL recorded just one album in 1979, containing various great, funky disco tracks. The pick of the best is "Boogie down and mess around", but also much loved are "Move your a** gringo", "Put the funk back" and the rather silly instrumental "Belly button". An essential Lp with a nice funk feel.

Butterfly Records was known to send out promo copies of their disco albums in colored vinyl . This one was clear red.
