MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Pattie Brooks and the Simon Orchestra released the "Love Shook" album in 1977. Patti Brooks is best known for her "After Dark" Disco smash, but the "Love Shook" album and in particular the cut, "Girl Don't Make Me Wait" is not to be missed. The orchestration is beautiful as are her vocals. Elton Ahi of Destination (Move On Up) fame is also involved.

This is a Patti Brooks album that should not be missed and a worthy addition to your Disco music collection.

WOW!! What a great album this was. EVERY cut was played in clubs and DISCOS. PRIME TIME PLAYER material. The POPCORN MEDLEY was a TEN. Played everywhere. LOVE SHOOK and GIRL DON"T MAKE ME WAIT were classic disco records. Another TEN. This is PATTI BROOKS at her best.

I found this in a used record shop in Finland and it cost 1,7€. It's very catchy and dancable disco. The sounds are cool on this record. I especially like "Girl Don't Meke Me Wait."
