Bad News Travels Fast is a rarely heard Alec R. Costandinos production from 1979. The sound is now taking on aspects of R & B and even rock to some extent and it is nothing like his earlier productions.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Bad News Travels Fast

Bad News Travels Fast was an R&B-meets-jazz-meets-disco ensemble, produced by Alec Costandinos. They released two lacklustre LPs on Casablanca Records, 1979, "Look Out" and "Ordinary Man". The title track on their second album is quite catchy though (it was the only track co-written by Alec), but curiously not released on single. The rest of the tracks are just weird in a very dull way and failed to appeal to either the disco crowd or funksters, despite the Becker bros. making an appearance. Recommended to completists only, you can certainly do without this if you're a fan of the immaculate Alec Costandinos.
