Final Santa Esmeralda LP from 1982 and very, very hard to find. Never released in the USA on vinyl.
A CD reissue was released in the USA for a brief time with slightly different cover art in the early 90s by Hot Productions. The title track is pretty much "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and "House Of The Rising Sun" all over again with different lyrics. The rest of the LP is pop/rock. The track "Siboney" holds close similar sound and tune to Alec R. Costandinos' "Americana" (another non USA early 80s release). The track "Eye Of The Cat" is a hard edged rock tune that just totaly rocks if your into the heavy rock sound. The LP concludes with the depressing ballad "Eternal Light" which to put it bluntly, sucks! An intersting fairwell LP closing the time line for Santa Esmeralda.
