Laura Taylor's debut LP, which was heavily disco influenced. All the tracks on Side 1 are good disco songs, my personal favourite is "All Through Me".
Side 2 is a clear attempt by Laura to show off her diverse styles. "Follow Your Own Star" and "Sad Is the Song" are classy ballads. "I Believe" is another disco number, and "Romance With Me" is disco with dixieland-styled sections. "Boogie On Down To My House" is a broodly little mid-tempo funk number, and "Lady Scorpio" evokes memories of Roberta Kelly's "I'm Sagittarius" in both musical style as well as content.
Above all, a very enjoyable LP by Laura Taylor and one I'm glad I recently bought.
