MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

&keywordsGregg Diamond's Star Cruiser was his only album on TK / Marlin Records. It yielded some great Disco singles notably "Star Cruisin'," "This Side of Midnight" with Jocelyn Brown on vocals and "Fancy Dancer."

Jesus, ol'skinflint makes a passionate plea for this album. I played almost all the cuts, with FANCY DANCER my favorite. THIS SIDE OF MIDNIGHT was also incredibly strong. An excellent album to own, an easy LP to rate on my scale from 1-10. This LP gets a very strong 10.

Gotta love "Holding Back", "Fancy Dancer", and "Starcruisin'". Really great LP as a whole.

Ever have an album you love so much you rarely play in order to "make it last longer?" This is such an album for me. "This Side of Midnight", "Too Hot to Reggae" and the thrilling closer, "Arista Vista" are so melodic, well arranged, well played and well produced that I'm unable to control my emotions whenever I play them. If I had enough money to start my own record company (which I've thought about several times) this is one of the FIRST CDs I'd like to release
