Giorgio Moroder's electronic masterpiece, "Evolution," is contained on the B side of this Battlestar Galactica LP from 1978 on Casablanca Records.

Giorgio Moroder is considered the father of electronic Disco music and was able to make a name for himself even outside of Disco with soundtracks and productions for other groups including Sparks, Phillip Oakley...

EVOLUTION is a stunning sidelong affair.

Side A was never among my favorite Moroder moments BUT I must admit that IT'S LOVE LOVE LOVE is a fine disco/early Hi-NRG number. Is it too late to ask for an extended version ??? ;-)
