MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

This is Australian disco in it's purest form. Dark Tan are an Australian formed disco group which had a hit called "Disco Lady" which is on side A of this record. This song has got a great beat and piano sound to it, it is definitely got nothing to do with Johnny Talyor's 1976 recording of "Disco Lady". Anyhow they performed "Disco Lady" on Countdown 30th April 1978 when Countdown had its Saturday Night Fever dance competition.

"War & Peace" on side B is a lot faster with even more disco energy to it which is great for the disco floor, only thing is it only goes for 2.45 which is a bit short, whether or not there's a longer version I do not know. Anyhow the song is about wanting love and peace instead of war.
