(single-sided record)
Very early one sided Disco 12" single from Warner - Spector Records and probably one of their earliest 12" singles.
Calhoon was originally from New York, but later moved to Florida and played as the house band at a number of places in the Miami area. They also did a great version of Titanic's "Rain 2000."
Billy Stewart, the lead vocalist of Calhoon is still active in music today.

Mar 04, 2008 | 7:01 pmIf you ever saw CALHOON live, you know what I am talking about. These guys JAMMED! I saw them in the CAMEO in JERSEY way back in 1974 or 75. Then when I came south to Miami, they were here!!! I personally liked SOUL MAN by these guys. But this record was impressive, it would add people to the dance floor. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a strong 8.
