Fire consisted of Jeannette Williams and Beverly Champion and are better known for being the back-up singers for KC & the Sunshine Band during the 1970s.

Some tracks had been released as singles before thsi album. For example, "You Don't Know" was a 45 from 1975 with a non-LP flipside called "Oh, That's My Man".
