MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Change of pace for the Canadian songbird, France Joli. Produced by soul great George Duke ; DOES HE DANCE is a downtempo track but Shep Pettibone provides a mix that will get you on the dancefloor for sure.

As someone once said: "Try to sit still while this one is playing..."

It should have been a bigger hit, but fans truly love it - so isn't it what really matters?

not REALLY a change of pace for Joli because half the tracks on her EXCELLENT album "Tonight" were ballads or mid tempo numbers. I remember being surprised when I played the album because it was so different from her disco-tinged debut. But they are beautiful songs, especially "This Time (I'm Giving All I've Got)", "When Love Hurts Inside" and the title track.
