French Disco act, Queen Samantha who were best known for their earlier Disco hit Take A Chance on TK Records in 1979 are back in 1983 with a remix of Close Your Eyes. It is a wonderful song which hearkens back to the 1970s though saw limited play upon its remix release in '83. A hidden gem!
The flip-side's Summer Dream is another track which sounds as though it was originally recorded in the late 1970s with the prerequisite strings and large sound. Not as catchy as the A-side, but a quality string and horn-laden Disco track.
