Don't be fooled by the length of the songs; this follow-up to DANCIN' & LOVIN' returns the Spinners to the dancefloor. Although it is not as great as their previous album - it is still a nice offering.
Three upbeat disco hits are featured here as well as three uptempo R&B-flavored dance tracks.
CUPID/I'VE LOVED YOU FOR A LONG TIME is the welcome medley - and was a huge disco hit.
The title track, co-written by Zager and Deniece Williams, is one of their best. Punchier and funkier somehow - the danceable cut is a great way to kick things off.My favorite song here.
I JUST WANT TO FALL IN LOVE is a real highlight - I would have loved to see an extended version.
STREETWISE is low-key and quite mellow although it is a dance track.
SPLIT DECISION and I'M TAKIN' YOU BACK are very soulful and while they're uptempo songs - they're not your typical disco songs.
If you combine the two LPs - then you get a very solid dance compilation.
Ullanda McCullough is featured on the ballad HEAVY ON THE SUNSHINE.
