The album kicks off with the gently lilting IT'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT (there is a certain THE WOMAN IN ME-vibe going on here), the typically NRGetic MY LOVE, the sophisticated electro rhythms on DON'T YOU WANNA DO IT give it a moody quality... Excellent cut.
The title track is a ballad - very much in the style of A MAN AND A WOMAN.
Side B - starts strong with the great TAKE IT UP (a highlight for sure).I DON'T WANNA LOSE YOU the sole track mixed by Montreal's power DJs Michel Simard and Robert Ouimet (who did wonders on those early Gino Soccio's albums).
EXTRASENSORY PERCEPTION is robotic and minimal in instrumentation.
The LP ends on a high note with the mellow yet danceable THE PARTY'S OVER.I've always had a soft spot for this track.
So another great collection for the husband & wife team that made Montreal proud.
