Miles away from the first Macho album on Prelude Records. Bring on the guitars!
This 1980 release finds the guy exploring other avenues.
The rockier MOTHERS LOVE "MAMA MIA" is half-way between disco and hard rock... (Very inspired by I WAS MADE FOR LOVIN' YOU by KISS).
ROLL is pure disco with great pots and pans percussion, the great NOT TONIGHT is bright and pumping.
Side B kicks off with the rockier yet danceable TALK.GOT TO MAKE A MOVE is happy and filled with horns and a catchy piano riff.
MONTREAL is poppier (with great lyrics) and the album ends with the funky laid back YOU GOT ME RUNNING.
A different side, still danceable but not stricly disco.
