The Sylvers' DISCO FEVER was produced by Giorgio Moroder and Harold Faltermeyer and it sounds pretty much the way you would expect it to sound.
Opening with a cover version of Diana Ross' signature song "(Theme from) Mahogany" done disco-style. (One of my guilty pleasures - I must confess !)
As a huge Casablanca / Giorgio fan - I admit that I grabbed this one the moment I saw it in stores.
Presented as two sidelong medleys, the LP features songs written by the usual Munich gang (Pete Bellote / Geoff Bastow / Moll Wisnet as well as Giorgio & Harold) along with Edmund Sylvers.
All tracks are disco and often sound a little bit too bubble-gum for some.
