I first noticed Arthur Prysock's deep voice when I heard the hit "When Love Is New". In fact the smooth instrumental version of the song was used a lot as incidental music on Canadian TV.
The album is filled with great dance tracks with solid male vocals.
John Davis & the Monster Orchestra provide such a great backing on these very smooth disco songs.
The opener "I wantcha baby" (another Gamble & Huff offering) is a clear winner ; setting the tone for the other songs.
At times sounding almost like a Salsoul Orchestra album (thanks to the Sweethearts' great vocal contribution) - it is a nice laid-back collection.
With 6 danceable tracks out of the 8 songs on the LP.
