One of the few Quebec-born Anglophone singers to emerge from the Montreal disco scene ; Melody Stewart started her career in the mid 1970s and sang mainly in French.
Better known as a ballad & R&B artist , she scored many hits before switching to disco (and english) in 1980.
This album was not a huge hit although a least 3 tracks (Action Satisfaction / Get Down, Get Down / Electrify Yourself) charted or were reviewed in Billboard magazine.
Any fans of the Montreal sound will likely enjoy this album.
