Kool & The Gang throughout the early/mid 1970s recorded a lot of funky music and funky disco music. "Carribean Festival" is an excellent piece of instrumental latin style funky disco music with their trademark funky guitar plucking and horns and their chanting "Jamaica!."

Now side A version is their standard version and the disco version on side B, it is faster and the funky guitar plucking and drum rhythm really stands out which is really cool and they chant "Jamaica!" a lot more in this version. Both versions are fantastic.
