DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!!When this song came out, it was like a big wave that swept through South Florida Dance Floors, engulfing all the Dancers and listeners. The fantastic introduction was great for an entry mix. The various breaks lent themselves to LIVE remixing whenever one was needed. I used a second copy of VENUS to execute perfect mixes. This kept it fresh daily, like BANANAS(get it). A remake of The SHOCKING BLUE'S Chart topper, this version didn't reach those lofty numbers, but did dominate the DANCE Charts for a month or so. If played today, it would get similar results. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.

Bananarama ruled the floors whenever they hooked up with Stock Aitken & Waterman.
Perfect cover song and a great snappy single.Ian Levine's Hellfire Mix offers a dirtier and different feel.
