DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!! DUSTY SPRINGFIELD kicks butt in this song, her vocals are what puts this record over the top, and makes it a DISCO CLASSIC. I loved it and played it from day one. A true PRIME TIME PLAYER that always maintained and increased the Dance Floor. Excellent introduction, and numerous breaks make this a very easy record to mix. Incredibly deejay friendly, I remixed this song to death. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.

May 19, 2008 | 3:56 amWhile The Pet Shop Boys had a few more hits, I agree with you, this is the best song from the Boys. I am sure that it is DUSTY SPRINGFIELD'S fantastic voice that made this song so strong. I remember, that it's introduction is so easy to execute, that no-one would realize the mix until the vocals started. I would use two copies, extend the intro, and start the vocals at where DUSTY sings"What Have I Done To Deserve This". The floor would react with a roar as they realize which song they just spent five minutes dancing to. I got them every night, because every night the mix would fool them, there were so many options for a good deejay. A fun record!!

May 19, 2008 | 3:36 amThis is the best song for me from Pet Sop Boys , and Dusty give this song the influence , but I don't know why I prefer the original 7" than the 12" in this song !

May 18, 2008 | 6:28 pmOne of the best Dance songs recorded. Dusty was fantastic, God Bless Her.

Great 12" indeed...both sides got my attention.
But then again - I'm such a huge fan.
