MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

I have known Eddie Drennon since 1973, when he was a GRINGO playing flute for local New York City Salsa Bands, such as La Tipica Novel, and La Conjunto Charanga(Later Charanga 76). He was the arranger for all those groups. I later saw him backing up, JOHN DAVIS, TINA CHARLES, DONNA SUMMER and LOVE AND KISSES. When he finally started playing by himself, he gave us WOULD YOU DANCE TO MY MUSIC, I was pleasantly surprised that CASABLANCA picked him up. Here is a true NEW YORK CITY DISCO SONG. Only in the BIG APPLE was this song played. DISCO TO DEATH, I loved it, played it, even remixed it. PRIME TIME TOO!! On MY scale it gets a 10. But like I said, outside NYC, no-one ever heard of this. A true"HIDDEN GEM!!"
