MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

In 1976, the radio stations in New York City were playing FLOAT ON by the Floaters every few minutes. A slow mellow jam, that everyone kept requesting. I started playing it either early in the evening, or very late in the Morning. It always worked well. This is the song where each Band member would take turns and perform a SLOW rap(could be the first RAP Version?) about themselves, starting with their astrological sign. REMEMBA?? Not a DISCO CLASSIC, but a CLASSIC that was played at some DISCOS. Also on this album, besides the nearly 12 minute version of FLOAT ON, is YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY YOU LOVE ME, a cover of ELVIS. Like the KING'S version better, but this one is good too. So I feel justified in giving this Album a 10 on my scale from 1-10.
