Many critics said that this song and the Movie of the same name that featured the VILLAGE PEOPLE, was the final nail on DISCO'S coffin. While the movie did suck, I did not feel that this song did. I played it, in the PRIME TIME, and it was very impressive. I thought that this was one of the best produced records they had, and despite all the negativity it brought, it remains one of my favorite records from the Village People. Many people and deejays, including the GAY crowd turned their back on them and this song. Never understood why? Great introduction and excellent breaks made it deejay friendly, the lyrics, while cheesy, were never what DISCO was about. The music rocked. I call this a DISCIO CLASSIC, becauset my clubs, it was!! On my scale from 1-19, it gets a 10.
