MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!! There are TWO cuts/songs on this album that were played in heavy rotation in New York City DISCOS, the first is the Early DISCO CLASSIC "I'M IN HEAVEN" whenever I'm with you! Then there is the "hidden gem" called "YOU GOT TO KNOW BETTER". It was also played by the sophisticated deejay in all the major clubs in the mid-seventies. It was early DISCO at its best, very similar to THE JONESES. If you noticed, the man behind this album is the legendary JOHN DAVIS(and The monster Orchestra). He went to the studios getting his own albums ready after his work here was done. I remember when TOUCH OF CLASS got booked to perform at THE COPACABANA in the summer of 1974, and they went to town, played all their sets with a TOUCH OF CLASS, dancing in sync and so totally confident of their music's ability to get everyone dancing, and to provide an entertaining evening. They lived up to their name. On my scale from 1-10, they get their TEN!!!
