DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!! When I got this at the Florida Record Pool in 1980, I was in charge of the record portion of the pool. My job was to receive and distribute the product. So initially Warner Brothers sent ten of these one-sided Promo copies, of which I took one. I played it, and A LOVER'S HOLIDAY took over the dance floor. It was the first of a new breed of DISCO. The following week I got the official 12" version, and everyone got that. So with two copies, I went to town remixing this song. Very deejay friendly, with exceptional production, music and vocals. The breaks were fantastic, easily used to enlighten and reshape a great song. This gave it an extended life on my dance floor, that went months longer than it would have been without these remixes. That is a deejay's DREAM record. So on my scale from 1-10, this dream of a song gets a 10.
