MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

LEVEL 42 was a very good group that had a few DISCO/DANCE hits in the early 80's. Very deejay friendly, made for some great remixing! The Dance Floor was always busy when I played this song, though I doubt it could do it on its own! On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 7.

Sometimes they are not available, but most of the time PROMO VERSION or PROMO COPY simply means that the record companies sent the record to a deejay weeks, maybe months BEFORE they release them for sale to everyone else. If you look hard enough, more than likely you'll find it somewhere. But that record isn't THAT good to go hunting for it.

I always like the DUB versions, but you mentioned that it's a (Promo 12")
So maybe it's not available commercially

Dub versions are more instrumental, less vocals. That is because it is intended for the deejay playing it to remix it live. Most don't know how!
