MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Before there was DISCO, SANTANA came out with their first album. There are a few tracks that were played in night clubs (they weren't called DISCOS yet), and for years they could be heard.

EVIL WAYS stands out as the pre-DISCO dance record off this album. This record was huge, great to dance too. Also on this LP was SOUL SACRIFICE, which was 136 beats per minutes, years before BPM'S was developed for deejays.

PERSUASION and JINGO were played as well, and years later as well. A great album for those who wanted to know what music was played in the early days of DISCO. On my scale from 1-10, this LP gets a 10.
