This DISCONET features a 1980 version of D.C. LaRUE'S "Cathedrals". A great song in 1977, but by now got little response in DISCOS. The Flip side got more air play, with a great mix by DJ Bobby Guttadaro of two Harry Chalkitis' hits, "So Long" & "Gimme Love". Gimme Love was exremely easy on the ears, and the dancers enjoyed it. On my scale from 1-10, this DISCONET can only get a 7. And I am being generous.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS

Wasn't disco sort of dead by 1980? If not dead then slipping out of the mainstream.

Not Dead, not even out of the mainstream, just got a name change. It was out of"style" to call any music DISCO, too much negative contagions associated with the "term", there is more on this in an article listed under"History 101". The new name of that musical style was "DANCE MUSIC", remember?
