MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Here are the DeBarge's second release off the RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT LP. While not as good as the title track, YOU WEAR IT WELL had a little success. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 5.

I wasn't a big fan of RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT either, and I actually played this song a lot more. It wasn't a show-stopper, but didn't do bad. I just couldn't play it during the busiest point of the night, it would empty the floors at that time. Do you remember the DEFRANCOS and the SLYVERS, two other family groups that imitated DeBarge!!

I consider this one of their finest releases, as far as uptempo tracks by them, this is my all time favorite, way funkier than that bubblegum poppy "Rhthym of The Night" which IMO got way more play than it deserved, lol.
Those horns.... and the bass riff....Oh Yeah! that's the ticket!
