An early Casablanca 12", from 1976 by Margaret Singana (note the numbering system is different from that used on later Casablanca 12"s). The Casablanca label isn't even used on the record itself; it's a Columbia Santa Maria test pressing label. The cover is the only key to what's inside. The version is fairly identical to that on the LP, running about 3:38.

Mar 22, 2008 | 1:18 amNo, it's a totally different song. Betty Wright's version on Alston ranked #5 on the Billboard year-end disco action chart for 1975.

Being a pure Casablanca-fanatic ; I always preferred this version which I first heard on a Casablanca disco sampler Lp.
