Bionic Boogie was one of the late producer/songwriter Gregg Diamond's projects. Many may recall his other song, Star Cruising on TK. He had also produced and written for others like Andrea True, Gloria Gaynor and written songs like Fill Me Up (Heart To Heart) by Caress (not to be confused with the Boris Midney group of the same name).
This Polydor 12 inch promo release has a great remix by the late Jim Burgess of Cream on one side and Chains on the flip. Both were favourites of many and heavily played in clubs and radio.

Feb 16, 2005 | 4:24 pmBIONIC BOOGIE were a studio disco outfit produced by disco magician Gregg Diamond. Taken rom the album ''Hot butterfly" (later recorded by Chaka Khan), "Chains", this is pure dynamite, design to make you dance.
Gregg Diamond wrote disco tracks for many groups in the 1970's, including:
Andrea True Connection
Star Cruiser
Caress
Duane Clark
Hardware

not the best work from BIONIC BOOGIE. It didn't the impact that their other songs did. It only gets a 3 on my scale from 1-10.
