This is a tragic story. This album, Trinere, has five songs on it that led the way in the FREESTYLE revolution. I'LL BE ALL YOU EVER NEED, I KNOW YOU LOVE ME, HOW CAN WE BE WRONG, ALL NIGHT and THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG were all huge club and radio hits.
Local Miami girl TRINERE was well on her way to stardom. In Miami, she was HUGE, and according to her do-everything Manager/Producer (and Boyfriend) "Pretty" Tony Butler, her album sales were going through the roof. Just a few more weeks and she would have "made it."
Unfortunately, Butler was a criminal and con-artist who unbeknownst to TRINERE was distributing CRACK COCAINE around the United States in those record boxes instead of records. The D.E.A. and the Federal Government caught up to him, and off to jail he went.
Meanwhile TRINERE was not only broke, but Heart-Broken!! Taken for a ride by her man. this story really sucks, TRINERE was a very special vocalist who had the door opened to her, ready to step forward into the limelight, and suddenly gets her whole life turned up-side-down by her drug-dealing man. She never recovered, and no-one ever reached out to her? Maybe there actually was some talent there. This album RULES! It is definitely worth the money to own it. On my scale from 1-10, it gets what it really deserves, a TEN!!!
