This is a rare record from the group the Honey Cone (not Honey Comb like the cereal). The early POP/DISCO sounds made this record extremely popular. Played in house parties, Dance Halls, AM radio, FM radio and in early DISCOS. I consider it "Bubblegum Music", but remember playing it, and dancing to it. Hard to find, GOOD LUCK!!

Mar 12, 2008 | 10:34 amI want to thank OCTAVIO for correcting the spelling of this group, they were called HONEY CONE not HONEY COMB like I mistakenly wrote. Thank you!

And yes, many consider "Want ads" a Proto-Disco hit.
