MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Biddu continues with "Funky Tropical" featured here on a white label promo 12 inch . Highly recommended.

Besides producing for Tina Charles (I Love To Love), Carl Douglas (Kung Fu Fighting) and Jimmy James (I'll Go Where Your Music Takes Me), Biddu also put out his own material such as the above under the name Biddu Orchestra.

Biddu also did "Funky Tropical" and "Summer of 42." IMO a very under-appreciated artist and definitely worth a listen.

UK disco producer BIDDU wrote for many British disco acts, including Carl Douglas, Tina Charles and Jimmy James, often exactly the same music would be used, with different vocals. Good stock early disco tracks "Funky tropical".
