When this song first came out, it was well received. From the motion picture URBAN COWBOY. There was a tremendous buzz both negative and positive involving this movie. It was the same thing with CALL ME. You either loved it or hated it. I knew DEBBIE HARRY from my days in JERSEY. So I played the song. One Tuesday night, there were about twenty girls from the "U" at the bar. They kept requesting CALL ME, it was early and the dance floor empty. I wanted all these girls to dance, so to get the night started, I told them I would play CALL ME as long as they ALL danced to it. They agreed. Having three copies of the 12", and three turntables. I decided to give them the time of their lives. I put a cassette in, and got started. I played and remixed this song for forty-five minutes. The girls danced for the entire time. By the end of that session, the dance floor was packed! And I had an incredible remix. Still got the cassette to this day. Think I'll go play it now. For that memory alone I have to give this song a TEN on my scale from 1-10,
