It is tragic that there are no notes for this Eurodisco gem! Yan Tregger's interpretation of Ernesto Lecuona's latin classic is one of the most exciting disco records of the 1970's. It is recorded in the "Santa Esmeralda style" of Eurodisco most often associated with bands like Santa Esmeralda and American Eagles, but both "Suite Espagnole OP.45" and the title track are passionately intense and energetic. The orchestration is strangely magnetic and enriching.
This was probably Yan Tregger's finest moments as a Eurodisco producer.
