MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Rare Gems came out in 1977 with a self-titled album on Casablanca Records, which included the funk classic "What Is Funk." The next year they switched to the small California Gold label and published this LP, which is more disco oriented.
