You Know What I Like
Interesting & quite rare record from the group Sympho-State. "Fever" has been performed by many artists accross different genres, amnongst them Boney M. Don't get misleaded, this version, thanks to Bob Blank & Carolos Franzetti, is a true disco stormer with heavy orchestration & breaks (a typical 78 type of sound). The song is divided in "two parts", starting with a lot of syncopated strings and a bit of female vocals, then it turns (quite suddenly I must say) into more instrumental disco with latin & caribbean flavours.
You can find the same party feeling on the flip with "You Know What I Like", another well orchestrated song that has emphasis on the drums.
