Here's a song by the late Keith Barrow that I have loved and played since I first heard it back in 1978. For some reason, many don't seem to care for it.
Don't know why it's neglected since "Turn Me Up" is a really good Disco song. It has finally been included in a hard-to-find French compilation CD called Soul Collector #1 . Keith Barrows was a Chicago native.

I agree with Bernie. Nothing sounds like this slow-burn record, which percolates instead of peaking; it feels very "underground" for a big-label release.
I like Keith's quavery, closely-miked tenor, the amusingly succinct backup chorus, and above all that percussion. A dancer's treat!
