YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Greg Phillinganes

"Behind the Mask" shouldn't work, but does it ever! The big, crossover writers and great-turned-schlock produver all live up to their hype, and so does Greg, who sings as if with a gun to his head. Get the 12", which extends the spaciousness of the groove. In no sense is this 1985 record disco - except for its timeless musical values, of course!
