YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Deborah Washington

This is Deborah Washington's first LP, she followed this up with "Love Awaits" a year later.

Side A is a continuous medley, with "Love Shadow" the only original composition. "Standing in the shadows of love" is the old Four Tops Hit; "Fire" by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, and "The Letter" the Box Tops' hit that was also covered by Amii Stewart and Queen Samantha amongst others. The songs sound like they were recorded separately, and spliced together for this medley in a crude manner.

The B-side contains a mixture of uptempo and soul songs, including a cover version of the Supremes' "Baby love".
