WORD UP made the maturation from DISCO to Soul and R&B complete. After this, you rarely heard a CAMEO record in a DISCO. Sure every black club played it, but it was gone from the DISCO> On my scale from 1-10 it was strong enough to get an 8.

Even that Word Up is the famous track in this album , but i don't know why I did'nt like it too much, I found Back And Forth and Candy much better.
