NOTES:

A very nice and quite rare disco LP by Silvetti, the follow-up to his 1978 "Concert from the Stars".

It definitely picks up from where the previous LP left off, with the trademark lush production and girlie vocals. Highly recommended if you like his earlier stuff.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Bebu Silvetti

Silvetti's "I love you" LP is very nice Disco Album (If you like symphony Disco) especially for listening today without any of DeeJay's ‘Dance floor’ pressures of the past to worry about. (as in my case)

Unfortunately I remember this LP didn't see to much dance floor action at the time (in my area at least) I believe the reason was that by 1980-81 this kind of ‘Disco’ sound was out of favor by now, especially when during previous years so many others hit records before this Album featured the same kind of sound.

The Title Song is very much inspired by the 'Constandino' sound, down to the girls vocals and swirling strings, the same can be said of "Why (can't I live this Romance), this one even sports a "Love and Kisses" inspired 'break' in the middle, “Love is on Tonight” is also very nice, featuring a soft mellow Disco beat, with a beautiful sax solo and strings break.

But by far the best cuts in this Album are "Atmosphere" and "Piano" both this beautiful cuts sound like they were lifted from a movie soundtrack, this cuts could have easily been used as the 'Love theme' in any Romantic movie.

I used both of this songs extensible for years in mellow soft music sets in a few private clubs venues (late twenties, thirty something clientale) during the early hours of the night as many of this clubs also doubled up as fine expensive Restaurants.

I remember lots of requests and inquiries for these songs; I'll bet Silvetti sold a bunch of copies of this LP on the strength of these two cuts along.
