NOTES:

Angela Clemmons had a great dance track with "Give Me Just A Little More Time" in 1982. Had a neat tick-tock sound in the mix. This was a cover of the 1970 Soul hit by The Chairman of the Board.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Angela Clemmons

Not equal to the raw original, but fresh and charming. Producer Paul Leka was an old AM radio hand ("Green Tambourine" and other pop smashes, way back to the 60's).

This record takes a big risk with its breakdown, and in my opinion succeeds. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

When one talks about CLASSICS, the song "GIVE ME JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE TIME" is in that category. But just not this version. Angela Clemmons tried, and I agree succeeded. This was a great recording. I played it more than I played the original. A lot of that is because I was fourteen when the original was released. This song is like PIZZA, you can't have bad pizza even when the PIZZA sucks. This song in no way sucks, but the one by the CHAIRMEN OF THE BOARD was better simply because it was first. On my scale from 1-10 I give ANGELA CLEMMONS' version a strong 7.
