NOTES:

A consistently good disco / jazz-funk LP.

Side A starts off with one of the many disco versions of the Close Encounters theme (Meco and Montana were two other disco producers to have a crack at this one). This is followed by the most fantastic, disco-fied version of the Star Trek theme I've ever heard!

Then we have a change of style, from sci-fi themes, to a beautifully sung version of "Moonglow".

Side B continues the theme, with a mix of cover versions and original material. The highlight is the closing track "Saturn" co-written by Stevie Wonder. It's a moving song with memorable lyrics "rainbow moonbeams, orange snow..." and a dramatic synthesizer effect at the end!
