I didn't know that Ray Parker Jr. produced this song. I remember playing this song at a house party in New Jersey. The response was well-received.

Her next release after STAR LOVE/GOT TO BE REAL, "SHAKE IT UP TONIGHT" did really well. A PRIME TIME PLAYER for a couple of months. Her vocals were so strong and powerful, that they resonated throughout the club. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 9, just missing the DISCO CLASSIC status.
