With the exception of Side A, this 1979 Alec Costandinos offering is rather weak in comparison to his earlier output. The first cut, "Synergy" is loosely based on Vivaldi's "Summer" concerto from the "Four Seasons."

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Alec R. Costandinos

Oh, I'm definitely a Costandinos fan! It's amazing to me that so many of compositions are quite long but never boring. I've never understood why he didn't achieve the same kind of success Giorgio Moroder did. I never even heard many of his songs during disco's golden days except "Thank God it's Friday." If his work had been more commercial perhaps he'd be better known. I'm also curious to know if he ever produced Donna Summer, and if he's still making music today.....

So am I. As I'm typing this - the Lp is playing.

I'm glad I still have a few Costandinos efforts - I didn't play as much as ROMEO & JULIET or early LOVE & KISSES Lps.

Weaker but truly enjoyable.

SYNERGY is very uplifting...
